Getting Started
Company Origins
Born from deep reflections on the severe mismatch of traditional traffic resources and data silos, the KARPAK team is determined to reconstruct the mobility rules of the physical world with decentralized concepts.
The Spark: A Universal Urban Dilemma
The story of KARPAK did not begin in a blockchain laboratory, but rather on the congested streets of a bustling metropolis. Our founding team—a group of urban mobility experts, seasoned tech entrepreneurs, and early Web3 advocates—shared a universal and frustrating daily pain point: the endless, exhausting search for a parking space.
Studies show that a significant percentage of urban traffic congestion is caused simply by drivers circling blocks looking for parking. Yet, ironically, just a few streets away, countless private driveways, commercial parking lots, and underutilized spaces sit empty. The founding team realized that the world didn't necessarily need "more" parking spaces; it needed a fundamentally reshaped way to organize, distribute, and incentivize the use of existing spaces.
The Epiphany: The Limits of Web2 and the Promise of Web3
Initially, the team looked at traditional Web2 solutions—smart parking apps and centralized booking platforms. However, they quickly identified a fatal flaw in the traditional model: misaligned incentives. Centralized platforms merely act as middlemen, extracting high commission fees without truly benefiting the asset owners or everyday drivers. Furthermore, parking spaces remained highly illiquid "dead" physical assets, unable to be easily traded, fractionally held, or leveraged for financial value.
The true breakthrough arrived with the rise of DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) and the concept of the Real Data Token (RDA). The founders had an epiphany: What if a parking space was no longer just a slab of concrete, but a yield-bearing, liquid digital asset backed by verifiable data? What if the everyday act of parking could be transformed from a "sunk cost" into a "rewarded contribution" to a global network through the tokenization of real-world data?
The Birth of KARPAK: Democratizing Physical Infrastructure
Driven by this vision, the team officially founded KARPAK. The name represents a paradigm shift—reconstructing the traditional concepts of "Cars" and "Parking" and elevating them into the decentralized Web3 era.
KARPAK is built on a unique and disruptive philosophy: Physical infrastructure should be owned, built, and shared by the community that uses it. By leveraging blockchain technology, the team set out to utilize Real Data Tokens (RDA) to capture the value of parking assets and user behaviors. This breaks down the barriers of traditional heavy assets, allowing anyone to become a stakeholder and co-builder of urban infrastructure based on the real data they generate.
The Mission Ahead
Today, KARPAK has evolved from an early-stage concept into a pioneering Web3 ecosystem. The company’s origins are rooted in solving a tangible real-world pain point, but its ultimate mission is much grander: we aim to build a bridge between physical reality and the digital economy.
KARPAK is not just building a parking network; it is laying the foundation for the decentralized smart cities of the future. In our vision, every physical asset will be interconnected, every participant will receive fair returns, and the value of urban space—empowered by real data—will finally be returned to the public.
